Northern Lights Tour
Tromsø is one of the best places in the world to experience the spectacular northern lights. We do everything we can to find the best locations to see them, but please be aware that the northern lights cannot be guaranteed, even under clear skies.
The tour starts at 6:00 pm from the Radisson Blu Hotel and lasts between 6 and 7 hours, but it may go longer. You will be dropped off at your hotel in the city center or nearby, no more than 10 minutes away.
Please bring your passport, as it may be required if we cross the border into Finland in search of the northern lights
Tour Details:
- Duration: 6 hours (may extend depending on conditions)
- Departure: 6:00 pm from Radisson Blu Hotel, Tromsø
- Drop-off: Your hotel or nearby (max. 10 min away)
- Group Size: 4–12 guests
- Age Limit: Minimum 12 years
- Season: October 1 – April 1
There is no toilet on the bus. If we’re not at our private camp, there may be a bit of distance to the toilet.
Important to Bring:
- Passport: May be required if crossing the border into Finland.
- Clothing: Dress for extreme cold (-30°C possible). We recommend warm layers, boots, gloves, and a hat. Limited thermal suits and accessories are available. You must also be able to walk yourself.
Refreshments:
- Hot drinks and light snacks included.
- Please inform us of allergies when booking.
Safety:
- Terrain may be slippery or uneven. Travel insurance is recommended, as Tromso Travel does not cover accidents.
- Our buses have Euro Class 6 environmental classification
Cancellation Policy:
- Full refund if canceled 24+ hours before departure.
